Jennifer Lynn Waters is in her first year with The Washington National Opera Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program under the direction and tutelage of the esteemed Placido Domingo.  Ms. Waters holds a Master's Degree of Music, with a concentration in vocal performance, from George Mason University.  She has a Bachelor of Music degree from Mary Washington University, where she studied both flute and voice. Ms. Waters is pleased to collaborate with many local organizations within the Washington DC Metropolitan area. The most notable of these are The Martha Graham Dance Company, The Frederick Symphony Orchestra, The Bach Concert Serie, and The Harford Choral Society .

Recent roles include Frasquita (Carmen) with The Washington National Opera, Fiordiligi (Così Fan Tutte) with Loudoun Lyric Opera, Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) with Maryland Concert Opera, Leonora (Il Trovatore, cover), Lola (Cavalleria Rusticana) and Peppe (I Pagliacci) with Center Stage Opera, Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), the title role of Suor Angelica, and Sicle (L'Ormindo) with The Opera Theater of George Mason University.

In January 2009, The Frederick News Post featured Ms. Waters' recent performance as a soloist with The Washington National Opera in the Born For Opera recital in Beijing China.  There, Ms. Waters was conducted by Maestri Placido Domingo and Michael Rossi.  This exceptional experience was highlighted also by her multiple performances with Maesto Domingo, one of which was the famous Cherry Duet from Mascagni's opera L'Amico Fritz.
