Jennifer Lynn Waters, a unique soprano voice, has captivated audiences with her sizable and radiant tone, blooming effortlessly in any hall. Ms. Waters possesses the ability of beautiful and floating pianissimi in the high register, as well as the most impressive clarity in the voice while singing in the middle to low range. With an instrument ideal for the fuller-voiced Italian repertoire, Ms. Waters' vocal versatility is demonstrated in both her legato and coloratura singing, covering an extensive four octave vocal range.

Soprano Jennifer Lynn Waters is in her first season with the Washington National Opera Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program. Ms. Waters has a BM in Flute and Vocal Performance from Mary Washington University and an MM in Vocal Performance from George Mason University . Ms. Waters is in her second season with The Bach Concert Series, and will be performing Cantata BWV 51 next summer. This year, Ms. Waters debuted with The Harford Choral Society, where she performed Handel's festive Messiah. In 2009, Ms. Waters will make her debut with The Frederick Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Elisa Koehler, singing Strauss' Vier letzte Lieder.

An avid operatic performer, Ms. Waters' stage credits include Fiordiligi in Così Fan Tutte , Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail , Leonora in Il Trovatore , Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana , Peppe in I Pagliacci , Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus , the title role of Suor Angelica , and Sicle in L'Ormindo . In January 2008, Ms. Waters was featured in The Elan Magazine for her performance with Loudoun Lyric Opera's inaugural performance of Così Fan Tutte . This coming November, Ms. Waters debuts with The Washington National Opera as Frasquita in Carmen .
